So i recently shot a short film for a friend in New York using the scarlet….It was an awesome story and i loved shooting every frame..
We shot the job in two days covering 11 pages of dialog and covering 12 scenes on 12 locations…It was hard work and long hours but we managed to cover just about everything ,only leaving us with a few cut aways to still shoot….The cast for the job were awesome they all knew exactly what they were doing and it made the whole process a pleasure..
This is the first shoot that i have really put the scarlet through its paces and she was great,very quick to assemble and move around,luckily we were indoors for 70% of the shoot so we could run off mains power because those wee red volts (batteries) don’t last long and even though i had 6 batteries they were not enough , will be investing in some bigger batteries as soon as the cash starts coming in…..
